PostSubject: Not a Place for a Sloth   Sat Dec 13, 2014 7:10 am

After Clyde and Reiji Kusanagi parted ways, Clyde headed in the southern direction towards Mylania Harbor. He needed to be somewhere that involved the sea and the harbor, though it reeked of shit and abuse, it held somewhat of a roguish charm that he sorta liked. He was ignorant to what was going on in the world around him, since he was just released from his crystallization mere hours ago. Clyde let out a big yawn and scratched his head roughly. He was already feeling tired and despite sleeping for millions of years, he wanted more rest.

"Holy crap was that walk unnecessary... Wish I could fly or something." He complained to himself and he neared the Black Flag Tavern. Clyde was going to order a drink, pass out in a booth nestled in a corner, and not be bothered by anyone, unless they offered some form of training or combat experience for him.

Kaitlyn slowly faded in from a small heat wave, turning and placing her hand upon the hilt of her sword just near the entrance to Mylania harbor. She would await Ceo to arrive in a few minutes and in the meantime took a look at what was happening in town. Sure enough, a large crowd was gathered outside of the Tavern, several news vans parking and looking to be out of place. Camera crews were all around and no one could get into the tavern.

"I expected the town to be under siege, not to start up the 5 o'clock news. I should look into these Red Cloaks some more before giving them any instructions at all." Kaitlyn scoffed, a little pissed the people known as the Red Cloaks seemed to be pushovers. She was worried for nothing it seemed. Maybe Ceo wouldn't have a problem dealing with them.

But then again, she had spurred them because they weren't your run of the mill bandits. The few people she talked to were skilled in one way or another and had uncanny abilities that would have made them perfect shinobi and magician to any village or group.

The few minutes would pass and Ceo arrived just as planned. Of course, he didn't expect the news crew to be here and he wondered if it were Kaitlyn who might have tipped them off. The again, she was an assassin and not a flashy one at that, so it couldn't have been her. That must have meant that whatever she ended up telling those guys to do, they must have botched it.

"Um... I'm sure this wasn't apart of your plan, right?" He asked and his voice grew into a serious tone. A total 180 from the comedic tone he used earlier. Just like Kaitlyn, his hand was on the hilt of his blade.

He furrowed his brow as he gazed upon the news crew and started forward, regardless if he didn't receive an answer from Kait. Ceo figured to gather information while he could, just so he can figure out how to deal with the situation.

There wasn't much surprise to Clyde when he saw a news crew gathered outside of the tavern, though, it was a bit of a drag for someone like him. He shoved his hands into his pockets and walked over to the crew casually. He scouted out the least busiest looking crew-member and prodded them with a finger to get their attention.

"Hey, uh, I was fixing on getting a drink here, but you guys are blocking the way. May I ask why and when you'll all leave?" He asked, wanting to get straight into it. There had to have been something really bad going on in the tavern to garner this much attention, because it wasn't everyday that you'd see concerned faces over a place like this.

Kaitlyn's eyes narrowed towards the tavern and she slowly began to make her way over, her hand never leaving the hilt of her blade. "Of course not. It's been a long time since I've said this, but I think it's time to make some heads roll." Kaitlyn was pissed that such a simple task as taking over a port town had gotten easily fucked to hell.

With Clyde...

A young man by a news van was putting away some of the cords that weren't being used when the newly awoken Kusanagi showed up. The man sighed at Clyde's question and sat in the open van's door.

"You're a quirky drunkard huh?" The man joked. "I could use a drink myself, but I doubt we'll be out of here anytime soon unless someone can get a petition out to Esperanza City for some help. The greedy ass shinobi and magician in the city aren't doing anything because there's no pay involved. If you're a shinobi or a magician, you're free to try to help out if you want. I'm sure no one would mind."

Clyde chuckled a little at the man's joke and listened as he explained the situation. That was definitely a drag, especially if the shinobi and magician aren't being sent out to do something important, like protecting their ports. That was an issue Clyde felt somebody should take care of. Somebody other than him. Having considered all of this, it looked as though Clyde was going to have to intervene in all of this.

"Well, if no one is going to help..." He spoke softly and quickly brandished his claw-blades. He checked them to make sure they were all okay and once he cleared himself, he quickly leaped over the group of people and news crew, yawned, then scratched his head as he walked towards the tavern. "Then I guess I have to take care of it myself... Geez, this is definitely not a place for a sloth like me..."

"You heading in with me or are you-" Before he could finish his sentence, Ceodore caught the sight of a young boy with his weapons drawn, who jumped over the crowd of people, and started on his way towards the entrance to the tavern. Behind his mask, Ceodore raised an eyebrow, then turned to look at Kait briefly. "I'll assume you saw that? Either case, will you be heading in with me, or are you leaving it to me like planned?"

Ceo wanted to double-check, just in case Kaitlyn wanted to get her hands a little dirty. Ceodore checked his mask and made sure it was on securely. He didn't want it falling off in the middle of a fight and definitely didn't want any publicity from it all. The man continued to inch his way towards the crowd and kept his hand on his blade.

Kaitlyn was already half way to the crowd when Ceo asked if she were coming. She saw the boy leap over the crowd and she stopped immediately, her eyes widening and her hand gripping the hilt of her blade strong enough to turn her knuckles white. With three brisk steps, she made it to the back of the crowd and with one swing of her blade, knocked every single person down in the area, as well as destroying most of the news equipment. Before she could move the blade back into place, Ceo would be able to see that she left the weapon in its sheath.

She followed Clyde into the bar expecting Ceo to already be right there with her.

Clyde entered the Tavern nonchalantly, his claw weapons unsheathed and ready to see some action. Because of Clyde's aloof personality, it'd be easy to mistake him for some kid who just wandered on into the tavern by accident. His half-closed eyes stood as a testament to this, for he looked rather sleepy and exhausted. Even his posture had him slumped over a bit in a lazy sort of manner. However, this was all just a clever disguise of his true intent to pick up on the further actions and possible personalities of the anarchists.

Unbeknownst to Clyde, there were two others who quickly made their way behind him.

"This shouldn't be too hard..." Clyde said to himself, before he looked up to meet the eyes of whoever was in there. "Yo, bartender, one drink please!" He announced just as casually as his walk in.

Ceodore picked up on Kaitlyn's sudden briskness in her steps. He focused himself quickly and watched as Kaitlyn toppled the entire crowd and destroyed several pieces of news equipment, all in one quick and forceful swing of her blade. "She's gotten faster..." He complimented the young girl in his mind. However, Ceo didn't have time to check on the status of all the people who had fallen and simply followed at Kaitlyn's slide.

Whoever that boy with the claws was, he either pissed off Kaitlyn somehow, or his sudden involvement with the predicament caused by Kait, was something that she wanted to take a quick interest in. On the inside of the bar, Ceodore knew to expect loads of trouble.
